This linear stage has a travel of 36 inches. The carriage is 158mm long and 88mm wide. The guide track profile is 58mm wide and 37mm thick. Running parallel with the guide track is a ball-screw actuated by a Bautz permanent magnet motor. End plates are approximately 7 inches wide and 3 inches tall. Overall length of the assembly including motor housing is 59.5 inches.

Information on the Type plate on the carriage includes ‘Deutsche Star Model 3700.1, Typ 0325.301.05’. There is also a date, 4 May 1992

Information on the motor includes ‘Bautz Antriebs und Steuerungstechnik Permanent Magnet Motor, Typ E 589 MGB 5000-1. The electrical cable from the motor has no connector but they are of substantial length. There is no encoder mechanism

The assembly is in excellent condition with a small trace of localized corrosion present. Motion is very smooth throughout range (lead screw turned manually).

This is a combination of two Kensington linear stages to form an XY stage. The lower linear is of the 8500 series, and the upper of the 6000 series of stages. The model number is 8500-6×6000-4(-). Specifications include:

The stage is in excellent condition. Both axes work very smoothly. It appears that the two cover plates for the belt drives are lacking, but these do not affect operation. Both stages have optical encoders installed.

This table was first manufactured by N.E.A.T (New England Affiliated Technologies) which later merged with Dover Instruments. Recently, both companies are now represented by Danaher Precision Systems, making this stage of very recent manufacture. It features both small-angle theta rotation and Z-axis elevation. Z axis control is via a cam following a precision wedge. For this reason the stage must be used in a horizontal configuration.

The table is in superb condition but is sold without the four connection cables (one cable for each axis motor, and one cable for each pair of axis limit sensors).
