The �type� label on the bottom of the carrier simply states Safety Shutter and Front Mirror, (no catalog number). However, this appears to have an additional �First Pulse� shutter installed, which is missing the flag. The rotary solenoid is there along with the bracket.

The first component is a �Safety Shutter� assembly similar to the one labeled �type 1031-2� on a different carrier. However it has been fully integrated with a front mirror kinemetric mount.

The shutter appears to be �gravity fail-safe� type using rotary solenoids � if the solenoid loses power, the shutter flag automatically drops closed There is a warning light for safety shutter position indication. Shutter controller is not provided.

The kinemetric mount includes a standard US Laser R=90% at 1064nm mirror, part number USL 3403. Coating appears to be in perfect condition. Overall condition appears excellent..
